LISA CRUSE began her needlework career with cross stitch at the age of six, triggering a lifelong passion for fiber arts and color. Knitting, crochet, fine sewing, English smocking, lacemaking all followed with forays into other needle arts and explorations with color.
Decorative painting, paint finishes and murals furthered studies in color and design and each element easily combines with the others for even more creativity and self-expression. Texture, faux effects add playfulness regularly to her designs.
| LISA CRUSE has taught adult education and children's workshops since the early 1980's and finds pleasure in awakening creative talent in her students.
In addition, Lisa designs regularly and is currently writing a book, pattern series and lectures. Her designs will be available through this site or at workshops as they occur.
